2014 has finally come to an end... And it was a great year!! So now onto 2015... Where this is the year of Katie!
I can finally say I have a truly great life filled with great people. I love my job and see it being a career not just a job. Adam and I are in a great place together. We have a beautiful house that I love, two super cute kitties, friends and family who love us and some great trips planned for 2015. So you wonder why is my resolution about me?
Well as happy as my life is I can say this is the heaviest most unhealthy I've ever been my whole life and 30 is approaching fast. You know where people say "It's harder when you get older... Just wait it'll catch up to you...", well yeah they are right. :)
Everyone always says "You're crazy you look fine." and I don't disagree, but I don't want to be fine I want to be healthy and fit. Those of you that know me know I've always dealt with stomach issues, back pain, and getting sick. I do think that diet, exercise, and being healthy is the key to that, but guess what that sucks and it's not easy.
I don't want to say I want to loose weight for 2015, but I want to spend time on me and being healthy. Start eating healthier, working out more, maybe get into yoga (because I'm horrible at it haha and think it'll be a challenge) just focus on me and my body.
This blog is going to be my journey in words. I've been involved in the fitness industry and athletic world my whole life so I know how to be healthy. That's not the problem. It's motivation, accountability, time... And it's not easy to get back in the game.
I'm going to be posting my journey for 2015. The ups and downs, the good, and bad, to not only keep me on track and read this blog at the end of 2015, but also to be able to help someone else. If instead of doing nothing you did something awesome!!
Here's to 2015!!! Staying Active,Being Positive, & Increasing Strength of my mind body and soul!
